wow you actualy clicked the rules link
I know this is always a bother, so I will be as brief as I can be (if you know me you will find that funny)
The alliance in general as well as our guild are a fairly mature croud (unless we have thrown back too much rice wine and dwarven ale). There are many couples who play together (both married and the boyfriend-girlfriend variety). Maturity, by the way is used here in a "towards-others" context, age is not of import as long as we all treat each other with respect.
Which leads me to the few [DONT'S] we have here, and no that was not a guild abreiviation
1. We will not tollerate any sexism, or derogator behavior in our guild, if you partake in this you will be banned from the guild and the alliance. Don't worry I do not mean the usual comments said about my attractive ritualist (you know who you are) as long as both parties are still joking in *good mannor* ... I mean the spiteful real life stuff. If you feel mistreated in this way please contact me or an officer immidiatly so we can research and address the issue accordingly and quietly so there is little to no disruption to the group and your gaming experiance.
2. We will not tollerate bullying of members. There is a learning curve in this game and we at Sage are here to help you enjoy your gaming and learn what you need to be successful. If you are unable to play nice, you will not play here at all. That is the number one reason for starting this guild and it will stay as such. THE COUNCIL HAS SPOKEN!
3. We have gone through some trials together as we migrated from CMF. And things may be a bit disorganised as others may migrate over who are also in need of a home. However, we are essentially a fairly closed guild to people outside the alliance. We would rather build a strong relationship with members already in the guild and alliance, which tends to lead to a more enjoyable experiance. This means that we will not invite every person on the street and spam the Monestary with invites. If you know someone who you think would be an ideal member in our guild, please let myself or a Sage officer know who they are and we can play a few missions together and see if they are a good match for Sage and visa versa.
4. As we are a mostly closed guild, new members will be put on a probationary period. This will last untill the council has approved you for permanent membership (don't worry if your nice, your probly in)
5. It would be a curtious and appriciated gesture to pay the $100gold invite fee back to the officer who invited you to the guild. It is not much but it shows your intrest in our guild and its values as well as your maturity and ethics.. The officers will not ask for this, it is up to you to approach them with your thanks.
6. Have fun!! for crying out loud, we are a laid back guild who wants to have fun not listen to Papa T. blabbering about all the things you can't do... get in there, turn on your guild and alliance chat and rip open a barral of dwarven ale and have some fun.
Again, thank for taking the time to read the rules.
