This coming weekend offers special bonuses for players who enjoy missions, roleplaying, and unique items. Factions players will be granted access to all Canthan elite missions the entire weekend via an NPC in Kaineng Center. In addition, there will be double rare loot drops within Canthan Elite Missions during the weekend! This exciting weekend will begin on Friday, August 4, at 12:01 a.m. PDT (07:01 GMT) and will end Sunday, August 6, at 11:59 p.m. (that's Monday, August 7 at 06:59 GMT). We hope to see you there! Heh we should start organizing an alliance or guild run of the elite missions while we can all get there

....Elite Mission? Tell me more, is this something you have to be far in the game to do?

Ordinarily, the elite missions can only be accessed by the allinaces controlling Cavalon & House zu Helzer, and the people they're nice enough to bring over (that's what people looking for a "ferry" want).
Sounds like during the weekend you'll be able to get to them from Kaineng, though, so wacky fun for all.

we should join up with the alliance here and give it a shot. I know I wanna try The Deep again and I never went to the Kurzick side. BTW, I learned a little tip-saving and time saving thing to try next time the Elite missions are closed and we want to try again.... 1. one player (in our alliance) goes to Cavalon or Zu Heltzer and requests the ferry ride. 2. that player then (from the pre-entry area / party formation location) goes directly to a pre-designated guild hall and has all veturing party members join them... then clicks Leave guild hall. 3. all members of that person's party or ported to the deep with out the need to go to Cavalon or Zu first... and no need for tipping Think I will save this to the "learning Curve" section as well here for future referance.
